The
original lowpitched roof of this house (see right) had
reached the end of its life and it was decided that
natural slate would be the appropriate material to use.
The
roof pitch had to be increased and this created space
for two new bedrooms and a large bathroom. At the same
time two extensions were constructed and the entire
house refurbished

This
small two-bedroom bungalow was extended and its small
roof literally raised, to create a spacious three-bedroom
house

Cottage (nearing completion)
This
Victorian lodge has been transformed through a combination
of internal alterations, a few minor external alterations,
and the addition of a major two-storey extension. A
single-storey flat-roofed extension has also been replaced
by one with a pitched roof to match the rest of the
house.

1 Hillside Cottage (under
construction)
A
delapidated extension was removed from this cottage
and replaced by a large new extension. Levels were arranged
to create a sitting room at ground floor level of the
original cottage, with a new bedroom and bathroom beneath.
